Appearance and wording

Open a survey in the editor and switch to the Appearance tab. Everything here changes how the widget looks and reads on your site — it doesn't touch the questions themselves.

Colours and shape

Pick an accent colour, a background colour and a text colour, either by typing a hex value or using the colour picker. A slider controls how rounded the widget's corners are.

Placement

Choose floating (a launcher bubble that opens the survey over the page) or inline (the survey sits inside a container you place on the page yourself). Floating mode also lets you pick which bottom corner the launcher sits in and its offset from the edges.

Launcher icon

Pick one of the built-in icons for the floating launcher bubble.

Wording

Override the default text: the section title shown above the questions, the call-to-action label on the launcher, and the thank-you text shown after a response is submitted. Leave a field empty to use the built-in default.

Theme and language

Set the colour scheme (light, dark, or match the visitor's device), the widget's display language, and its font family.

Getting the embed snippet

The bottom of this tab also shows the <script> snippet for this specific survey, shaped by the placement mode you picked above. Copy it from here — it's the same snippet described in Embed the widget, just generated with this survey's own identifier already filled in.
